What we store

  • Account details: email, hashed password, display name and tutor preferences.
  • Artwork you upload, with titles, dates, medium, tags and descriptions.
  • Critiques, follow-up conversations, exercises, practice results, revision comparisons, saved tutorials and saved portfolios.
  • Billing status from our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store card numbers.
  • Usage records of AI requests, used to enforce credits and limits.

Private by default

Everything is private to your account. Uploading or adding artwork to a portfolio draft never publishes it. Only artwork you explicitly mark public and publish, and only the profile fields you approve, appear on public pages. Critiques, conversations, lessons, exercises and progress are never public.

AI analysis

When you request a critique, follow-up, comparison or portfolio review, the relevant image (resized) and the context you provide are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, through the Emergent integration service, to generate feedback. YouTube links

Tutorial links open YouTube, which has its own privacy policy. We only use general skill keywords in search links — never your artwork, critiques or personal details.

Public content and unpublishing

Published images are web-optimized copies, not your full-resolution originals. You can unpublish any image or your whole portfolio at any time, which removes access through Artfloww.com's public pages and image links. Copies that others downloaded, and previews cached by social platforms, may remain elsewhere.

Deleting your account
